Training hard!
I'm Adam Hayes, formerly known as Melvin Hayes "The Wrestling Nerd." I love pro wrestling and I'm so happy to be able to live the dream! I started wrestling in September of 2011, more than a decade after my first day of training! I introduced myself to "Irish" Mickey Doyle in 2000 and he introduced me to my first trainers, Randy Miller and "Supreme" Brett Powers. They worked with me until I joined the US Army in 2001. When I got out in 2004, I traveled to Sault Ste. Marie a couple of times to do a little more training with SWA ("Supreme" Brett Powers was there) and I also traveled down to ACW to do a training camp with them before a show. In 2009, "Irish" Mickey Doyle worked with me a few times. He shared his experience with me and I'll never forget the things he taught me. Finally, in 2011, I got my chance and UPW gave me my first shot at a match. It was against "Superstar" Paul Richards. After that, I have benefited immensely from the training and tutelage of Bryan Skyline, among a few others. Without his knowledge, I certainly wouldn't be where I am at today.
I've added a section where I tell a little story about one of my matches. Have a look!
